Snowing again...

It's snowing again - and it was 70 degrees this weekend! It dropped quickly today, it was light jacket weather early this afternoon, and by 4 or 5 it had dropped at least 15 degrees...and now it's snowing like crazy! We are supposed to get 2-5 inches, but about 3 inches has already fallen and it's only been snowing for a few hours. More pictures attached, Macy playing in the snow (she attacks it as it falls), our house (with new lights), and what the city looked like on Sunday from the museum (it was warm and sunny!).

Macy going crazy

I have been trying to teach Macy how to bark on command...however, she now thinks that when I say bark, she should roll over! So I have started just barking back at her (yes, I'm crazy too) and she goes crazy. Here's just a little fun we have...

Trimming the Tree

I decorated our little tree on my birthday as well - we found cool black ornaments and have some red and silver ones too - I think it came out pretty well! We are betting on how long it will take for the cats to get up into it - luckily I think most of the ornaments are shatterproof...

Happy Birthday to Me!

Hi everyone!
For my birthday, Jamie and I were planning on going to the zoo - however, the forecast called for 45 degrees - so we decided to go to the aquarium instead...which was good, since it was snowing like crazy (that wasn't in the forecast!) We then went to Steuben's - a really good restaurant/diner and I had caramel granola french toast made and served in a little cast iron skillet - it was so yummy! We then came home and played with the dog a little, and then I had to finish up my final design project for school. It was a pretty good birthday though :)

Our first Thanksgiving in the new house

Hi everyone! Jamie and I (and the dog) just finished eating Thanksgiving dinner - it was tasty! I made the best gravy I have ever made, which was lucky since the turkey was a little dry - not too bad though! We're going to rest and then have some pie and then pass out- just like Jamie and Macy in the picture.

Jamie put up some Christmas lights - although we definitely need more, it's a good start. We're excited to be able to decorate our house! We bought the house last year on Dec. 21st, and then I left to visit Florida, so we haven't had a proper Christmas in our house! We are going to set up the tree sometime this week - we need to get some more lights and ornaments, we really don't have many...though I have to make sure the ornaments are unbreakable, since I know our kitten is going to be up in the tree as soon as she can get to it. She likes to get into everything!

Hope everyone had a good turkey day! See you all soon hopefully!
